Manno oligosaccharide from Konjac was selected as a new food raw material

2013年11月26日,国家卫生和计划生育委员会发布2013年第4号公告,正式批准了来源于魔芋粉的低聚甘露糖可作为新食品原料使用。公告中对来源于魔芋粉的低聚甘露糖的各质量项指标和使用要求做了详细介绍(见附件)。本次公告将低聚甘露糖纳入新的食品原料范畴,这标志着我国魔芋产业的开发取得了新的进展,为我国魔芋产品的开发指明了新的方向。


On November 26, 2013, the national health and Family Planning Commission issued announcement No. 4 of 2013, which officially approved the use of mannooligosaccharide from konjac powder as a new food raw material. In the announcement, the quality indexes and application requirements of Oligomannose from konjac powder are introduced in detail (see Annex). In this announcement, Oligomannose will be included in the new category of food raw materials, which marks the new progress of konjac industry development in China and points out a new direction for the development of konjac products in China.
