What It Is

KT is KONSON's internal high-transparency product direction. It can be considered when appearance, color or clarity are material selection factors. Final suitability depends on the current grade document and formulation validation.

Product Family

Current evidence supports KT as a family direction, but it does not lock a universal particle size, transparency number or process window. Confirm the specific grade and current documents before making a formulation decision.

Technical Parameters

Review transparency, viscosity, KGM, particle size and sulfur-dioxide limits in the current grade-specific technical document. Do not infer a parameter from older marketing material or from another model.

Application Scope

Potential relevance includes light-colored, translucent or appearance-sensitive systems. The final choice depends on process conditions, other ingredients and the required visual target.

Key Selection Logic

Define the complete target before requesting a grade:

• finished-product appearance and clarity target;
• target texture and viscosity;
• process temperature, pH and shear;
• other gums and suspended particles; and
• packaging and display conditions.

Processing Notes / Variables

Clarity and texture are formulation outcomes, not a single-ingredient guarantee. Evaluate process conditions and the full hydrocolloid system together.

Evidence & Limitations

Current STEP 02 evidence does not provide a controlled quantitative transparency claim for the KT family. Keep the value proposition qualitative until a grade-specific evidence package is available.
